A charming country cottage privately situated just past the pond on Fairhill Farm, a working farm of 143 acres.  The front porch overlooks the pasture where Daisy, GiGi, Zoia, Roxie, Rocky and Rusty (our miniature horses)  anour donkies, Thelma and Louise,  live with the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills as their backdrop.

Beautifully appointed with comfort in mind, Carrie's Cottage is perfect for a romantic retreat, anniversary or long weekend getaway.  Yet, it is spacious enough for a small family to enjoy a memorable summer vacation.

Wake up to the gentle sounds of a peaceful country morning.  Meander up the road  and visit with Smokey "the one-eyed cat" as she sits on the fence post.  Soak up the morning sun while reading the newspaper or a book in a chair next to the pond. Hike our private trails.

After a breathtaking sunset, the firefly displays on summer evenings will almost outshine the spectacular starry sky.  The evening ends with a symphony of sounds courtesy of the resident frogs and crickets.
